This is a hands-on position for someone who can look at a project, figure out what needs to be done, and get it completed correctly without needing constant supervision. Responsibilities Complete apartment and rental property turnovers General carpentry and construction Drywall repair, installation, finishing, and patching Interior and exterior painting Install doors, trim, cabinets, hardware, and fixtures Flooring installation and repair Basic plumbing repairs and fixture replacement Basic electrical repairs such as switches, outlets, light fixtures, and fans when legally permitted Property maintenance and repair work Troubleshoot maintenance problems and determine appropriate repairs Renovation and remodeling projects Demolition, cleanup, and job-site organization Pick up and transport materials as needed Communicate project status and material needs Maintain company tools, equipment, and work areas What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in residential construction, remodeling, maintenance, or a related trade Comfortable working independently Able to complete projects from start to finish Dependable and able to show up consistently Detail-oriented and takes pride in finished work Able to prioritize multiple projects and properties Comfortable troubleshooting problems rather than simply identifying them Professional around tenants, property owners, and other contractors Able to perform physically demanding construction and maintenance work A broad skill set is more important to us than specializing in one particular trade. Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Previous construction, remodeling, maintenance, or handyman experience Ability to safely operate common construction and power tools Ability to lift and carry construction materials and equipment Ability to work independently and manage assigned projects Compensation will depend on experience and skill level. This position offers a variety of work rather than doing the same task every day. Projects may range from small property repairs to complete apartment turnovers and larger renovation projects.
