Job Duties Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment, tools, and facility systems Repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing components Conduct equipment inspections, safety checks, and lockout/tagout procedures Fabricate parts and maintain shop equipment as needed Support facility upkeep including lighting, painting, snow removal, and grounds maintenance Assist with inventory handling, receiving, and warehouse operations Document maintenance activities and complete data entry Coordinate with vendors and contractors on maintenance projects Requirements High school diploma or GED with 1+ year of work experience Basic mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Forklift experience and valid driver's license required Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Work in industrial environments including high heat conditions Perform physically demanding tasks safely Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP systems (Epicor or similar) Lean Manufacturing knowledge Class B CDL or DOT certification Employee Benefits Wabtec can provide you with the vital benefits that you deserve.
