Assist with the installation, removal, movement, and storage of seasonal or event-related equipment and furnishings. Help maintain the appearance and condition of member-facing areas, employee areas, storage areas, maintenance spaces, mechanical rooms, and building exteriors. Assist with preventive maintenance schedules and identify potential maintenance concerns before they become larger problems. Work with outside contractors and vendors when directed by the Facilities Manager. Maintain tools, equipment, workspaces, and maintenance areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition. Follow established safety procedures and immediately report unsafe conditions or needed repairs. Assist other members of the Facilities Team with larger repair, maintenance, and improvement projects. Support Club departments with facility-related needs and special projects as directed. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager or Club management. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, construction, mechanical repair, or a related field is preferred. General working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems is highly desirable. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot everyday maintenance problems. Ability to safely operate common hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment. Ability to perform routine repairs independently while recognizing when a repair requires assistance from the Facilities Manager or an outside professional. Ability to safely assist with the setup, breakdown, lifting, moving, and storage of tents, tables, chairs, furnishings, and event equipment. Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and adapt to changing operational needs. Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a small team.
