Maintenance Technician - Apartment Community Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our apartment community team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and upkeep of residential units, building systems, and community amenities. Your expertise will help maintain a clean, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting building systems, and executing repairs with precision. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who takes pride in problem-solving, resident satisfaction, and maintaining high community standards in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Complete daily work orders accurately and in a timely manner Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, HVAC units, plumbing, electrical components, appliances, and facility infrastructure Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools (including multimeters/ohmmeters) Execute repairs involving electrical wiring, plumbing, HVAC systems, drywall, carpentry, appliance repair, and residential painting Assist with apartment turns (make-readies), ensuring units are move-in ready and meet company standards Operate property management or CMMS systems to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule preventive maintenance Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities in clean and safe condition Respond to after-hours emergency calls - NO
