Job Description

Overview As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of Cleveland Housing Authority's facilities and multi family residential properties. Illustrative Examples of Work Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure that properties are maintained in a manner that ensures quality and safety Troubleshoot and repair plumbing and electrical components Repair or replace water heaters Troubleshoot and repair appliances Basic repairs and troubleshooting of HVAC systems Basic carpentry tasks Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance-related inquiries with residents Maintain accurate records for work orders and inventory control Painting and preparation of vacant units for turnover Other maintenance related tasks Basic qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Must possess a valid Tennessee driver's license and be insurable under Cleveland Housing Authority's automobile insurance Preferred qualifications At least one year of hands on maintenance experience Experience in residential painting A proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving with a focus on safety and efficiency.
