Job DescriptionJOB DETAILSPay Rate:
$21.20 per hourDUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms scheduled and emergency maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facilities. Corrects problems with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, as well as PLC's. Maintains specified production and spare equipment. Performs basic to moderately complex mechanical repairs and installations. Performs basic to moderately complex grounds/facilities repairs, as required. Interacts with vendors to complete projects or to repair equipmentDiagnose root cause of problem and correct issues with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery and equipmentPerform routine, predictive, and preventive maintenance on all machineryOperate man lifts and forklifts, transport heavy parts and equipment, and complete forklift safety trainingIdentify needed parts to repair facilities and machinery necessary to insure continuous productionInitiate and complete CMMS work orders utilizing Maintenance ConnectionCoordinate maintenance of parts inventory with MRO and purchasing personnelMaintain grinders and associated blowers; adjust and install sharpened bladesFabricate metal parts (e.g. brackets); perform welding as requiredPerform basic to moderately complex electrical repairs and installations of AC/DC drives, HMI screens and high horsepower motorsPerform grounds/facilities repairs as neededPerform other related duties and assignments as required by managementMaintain personal toolboxRespond to on-call emergencies as neededUse assigned timecard daily to accurately record time workedAttend daily shift meetings and/or monthly plant meetings, if requiredActively participate in all plant safety programs, depending on locationNotify department supervisor if proper tools are not furnished to complete job functionsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
