Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician Gallatin, TN Starting Pay:
$30-$35+/hr (Based on Experience) Full-Time Rotating Shifts | Must Be Open to Days, Nights, Weekends & Holidays Overview We are seeking experienced Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians to support a large industrial manufacturing facility in Gallatin, TN. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining critical production equipment in a demanding heavy industrial environment. Successful candidates will possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and a commitment to safety, reliability, and minimizing downtime. Compensation & Benefits Highlights Competitive hourly pay based on experience and skill level Shift and weekend premium pay opportunities Annual bonus potential Paid holidays and PTO eligibility Strong long-term stability and career growth opportunities Established maintenance team with experienced leadership Significant overtime earning potential Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience Multi-craft maintenance experience with both mechanical and electrical systems Electrical troubleshooting experience up to 480V Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings Experience troubleshooting motors, relays, controls, and VFDs PLC troubleshooting experience required (Allen-Bradley preferred) Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills involving hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, sprockets, conveyors, and rotating equipment Safety-focused mindset with strong troubleshooting ability Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Comfortable working in a hot, dirty, physically demanding industrial environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in foundries, steel mills, or metal processing facilities Mining, cement, aggregate, or heavy material handling experience Power generation or large industrial processing experience Formal industrial maintenance training or technical education Advanced PLC troubleshooting experience Welding and fabrication experience Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy industrial equipment and production systems Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs up to 480V Diagnose issues involving motors, relays, controls, VFDs, and associated equipment Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and production equipment Perform mechanical repairs involving hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, sprockets, conveyors, and processing equipment Support preventive maintenance programs and equipment inspections Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime Work safely and effectively within a team-based maintenance environment Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Schedule & Work Environment Must be available for rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays Shift assignments may change based on business needs Heavy industrial manufacturing environment Exposure to heat, dust, noise, vibration, and large industrial equipment Frequent walking, climbing, lifting, and troubleshooting in active production areas PPE required in designated areas Overtime opportunities available Pre-Employment Requirements Successfully complete a physical examination Successfully pass a 10-panel drug screen Successfully complete a 7-year background check Ideal Candidate You are a highly dependable maintenance professional with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
