Job Description Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician - Day shift Job Summary Maintain and support conventional, and fully automated production machinery involved in the process of manufacturing painted vinyl windows and doors. Key Job responsibilities Repair, troubleshoot and maintain production machinery, support equipment, and the physical building and utilities as needed. Observe and test operation of machinery, diagnose malfunctions, understand the operation of the machinery, and learn to run cycle test on those machines. Read, interpret and utilize machine manuals, diagrams and schematics and manufacturer's instructions in the process of determining what needs to be repaired, and the correct method to do so. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must be able to work individually with little or no supervision, follow complex instructions, learn new methods, and work well under strict production goals. Must be a self-starter, punctual, team member, flexible with a good attitude and know when to ask for help. Work SafetMaintain a safe and clean working environment, follow all MGM company procedures, rules and regulations. - willing to modify lunch and break periods, changing priorities, come in early and stay late as needed, and work overtime with little or no advanced notice. Must be able to work on ladders, in scissor lifts, occasionally lift from 50-100 pounds, bend, squat, twist and move repetitively for 8-10 hours. Climb on machines, work underneath, and in close quarters with other team members.

Fri 8 -10 & some Saturdays Education Vocational, Military or specialized training beyond high school in Industrial maintenance with emphasis on industrial electrical and mechanical. Ability to demonstrate high performance in these areas will be required. Industrial maintenance Factory schools and, or specialized training would be beneficial. Experience Industrial maintenance in automated manufacturing - 4 yrs. Electrical systems, motor / motion control, servos, HMI's. Reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics, manuals.
