Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced systems and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues using schematics and testing tools such as ohmmeters Program, operate, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes Conduct welding repairs and fabrication as needed for equipment or structural components Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Assist with residential painting and general facility upkeep to ensure a safe and efficient working environment Supervise junior technicians or maintenance staff during specific projects or tasks Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during all maintenance activities Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings Strong electrical experience, including reading schematics and working with PLCs Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform welding, troubleshooting, and repairs on various machinery Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and documentation Ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams Experience with residential painting is a plus but not required Supervising or leadership experience is desirable for team coordination roles Excellent communication skills in English for effective documentation and teamwork Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively Knowledge of manufacturing processes, customer service principles, and safety protocols This position is integral to maintaining operational excellence within our facility. $21.00 - $24.50 per hour
