•Maintenance Technician | Millington, TN | Contract-to-Hire Overview
•You will maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems across a heavy industrial processing environment. This is a multicraft role - you need to be comfortable on both the mechanical and electrical side of the work, not just one. The facility runs continuously and the equipment demands technicians who can diagnose problems quickly and get systems back online. Schedule 12-hour rotating shifts, 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am, on a 3 on/3 off rotation. Overtime is available. Pay $28 to $34 per hour depending on electrical and PLC depth. Higher end of the range is available for technicians with strong PLC programming experience. What you will do Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the facility Troubleshoot PLC faults and navigate control logic; modify programs if capable Maintain dust collection systems, ductwork, piping, valves, and pneumatic conveying equipment Perform welding, fabrication, and pipefitting as needed Work within a
CMMS/SAP
system to document and close work orders What we are looking for Multicraft background with real experience on both the mechanical and electrical side PLC experience at minimum the troubleshooting and fault-navigation level; programming is a strong plus Heavy industrial or process manufacturing environment in your background (chemical, mineral, metals, paper, food and beverage, refinery, or similar) Availability for rotating 12-hour shifts including nights Drug test and background check required post-offer
