Job Description
Facilities Maintenance Technician Nashville, TN Monday to Friday $30 - $35/ph Our client are seeking a skilled General Maintenance Technician to join a professional facilities services team supporting a large, complex commercial environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, performing repairs, and keeping critical building systems operating safely and efficiently. The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of general maintenance tasks including preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and facility support across multiple building systems. Responsibilities Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building-related issues Complete work orders and service requests in a timely and professional manner Inspect equipment and systems to identify potential issues and recommend solutions Perform routine maintenance on facility systems, fixtures, and equipment Assist with minor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry-related repairs Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and equipment conditions Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment Work collaboratively with other skilled trades and facility team members Qualifications 2+ years of general maintenance, facilities maintenance, or building operations experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks Professional communication skills and a customer-focused mindset Why This Opportunity?
