Description As a Maintenance Technician III, under limited supervision, the responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, installation, repair, and performing preventive maintenance of complex production equipment, tools, facilities, and vehicles required to ensure associates can work safely, down time is minimized, customer requirements are met, and coach peers/provide guidance as necessary. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this position is based in Parsons, Tennessee

Major Accountability:

Diagnosing and repair of machines Routine inspection Comply with safety regulations

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot production equipment, powered industrial trucks, hoists, tools, and company vehicles to determine maintenance and service requirements Operate hand tools (including but not limited to electrical and pneumatic powered tools) Fabricate complex production/facility systems using welding, milling, plumbing, and pipefitting Repair/install complex electrical and mechanical systems such as hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, tools, etc. Read and interpret complex schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals to determine appropriate maintenance/repair needs Load, unload, lift, and move parts and equipment in preparation of inspection, maintenance, or service using powered industrial trucks and overhead lifting equipment as required Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facility as required Complete and maintain all associated electronic processes and paperwork (including but not limited to checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping/receiving materials) Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards Perform duties in accordance with the current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Manitowoc Code of Conduct requirements Actively participate in safety training and demonstrate competency by effectively resolving safety issues or bringing them to the attention of management Qualifications As a Maintenance Technician III, under limited supervision, the responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, installation, repair, and performing preventive maintenance of complex production equipment, tools, facilities, and vehicles required to ensure associates can work safely, down time is minimized, customer requirements are met, and coach peers/provide guidance as necessary.
