Industrial Maintenance Technician:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We're looking for solid, all-around mechanical and electrical maintenance experience — candidates with exposure to PLCs, robotics, metal stamping, or injection molding are especially encouraged to apply, but a strong industrial maintenance background is what matters most. Key Responsibilities of the
Industrial Maintenance Technician:
Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production equipment and machinery Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues; replace or repair defective components and test equipment Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and support production goals Read and interpret equipment manuals, prints, schematics, and work orders to complete maintenance tasks accurately Use hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment safely and effectively Communicate openly with peers, operators, and management regarding equipment issues, repair progress, and maintenance needs Follow all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures at all times Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications & Requirements of the
Industrial Maintenance Technician:
Minimum of two (2)+ years of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Solid working knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and troubleshooting production equipment Experience with PLCs, robotics, metal stamping, or injection molding is a strong plus, but not required Ability to read and follow work instructions, manuals, schematics, and technical documentation Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Excellent attendance and reliability are required Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work performed in a well-ventilated plant floor environment Frequent communication with employees, peers, and management Production environment with occasional noise and competing demands Overtime may be required as needed Health & Safety Perform all work in accordance with company, plant, and regulatory health and safety requirements Properly use and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and company-mandated safety attire About Spark Talent Acquisition Spark Talent Acquisition is a Michigan-headquartered recruiting and staffing firm dedicated to connecting great talent with great employers.
