Come grow with us…North American Stamping is expanding and looking to hire. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team! This position is for 3rd shift at our TNN2 facility in Portland, TN. The hours are 9:45PM - 6:15AM. Your success is our success… The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager. This position is to ensure that production equipment is kept in a safe and operable condition to assure efficient production of quality parts and to implement predictive and proactive maintenance systems to avoid costly and unscheduled downtime. This position is eligible for a $2,500.00 sign on bonus (paid in 2 installments) after 180 working days. Make up to $44.00/ hr.
Experience Requirements:
3 years previous experience as a maintenance technician is required. Automotive background required. Prior experience working with heavy duty mechanical presses preferred.
Skill Requirements:
Strong electrical background Strong mechanical ability to troubleshoot and repair Technical skills necessary in the areas of industrial electricity, PLC controls, hydraulics and pneumatics Good communication skills Technical skills necessary to follow OSHA requirements PC knowledge and experience
Essential Job Functions:
A. Ensures that production and related equipment is ready to meet customer requirements. B. Troubleshoot problems on production and related equipment. This includes PLC, press controls and weld controls. C. Work with all employees to continuously improve quality and production. D. Maintain preventative maintenance schedule for production related equipment. E. Complete work from project list as assigned by Maintenance Manager F. Requisition supplies and spare parts for maintenance areas and keep these areas organized. G. Maintain a clean work area. H. Work with outside tradesmen as required. I. Available for overtime as required. J. Available for training as required. K. Suggest methods for improvements, i.e continuous improvement plans L. Ensure maintenance repair requests are being addressed, resolved, and returned for proper record keeping in a timely manner. M. Assist in

implementation and maintenance as required.
Education Requirements:
Preferred associate degree related to
Industrial Maintenance High School Diploma Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day. Must be able to see, bend, kneel, crawl, climb, and reach with hands as needed to service equipment. Must be able to pass a drug screen.
