In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of signage systems across multiple locations. Your technical expertise and mechanical knowledge will ensure that each sign is securely mounted, properly wired, and visually impactful. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse signage projects, from large outdoor displays to intricate interior signs, all while ensuring safety and precision at every step. Your proactive approach will help us deliver high-quality signage solutions that meet client specifications and enhance brand visibility. Duties Install new signage by interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate placement and alignment. Conduct electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot wiring issues, lighting components, or power supply problems within signs. Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment mechanics knowledge to mount signs securely on various surfaces including walls, poles, or structures. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on existing signs to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately to guide installation processes. Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to verify electrical circuits and ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with project managers and clients to coordinate installation schedules, site preparations, and safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in electrical diagnostics, mechanical work, or sign installation roles. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience working with heavy equipment mechanics is preferred. Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices related to signage systems. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and technical instructions confidently. Technical proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices. Prior experience working with schematics and technical drawings for electrical or mechanical systems is highly desirable.
