A growing and vital company, Flex-N-Gate provides a great opportunity for hard-working and skilled individuals. Scope of the Position A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing predictive and preventative maintenance tasks to machinery and equipment for an automotive facility. This is a 3rd Shift position, Monday night through Saturday morning 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to machinery and equipment using a variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs as needed to minimize production downtime. Understand and use computer software for documenting daily activities. Operate overhead crane as needed to transport equipment. Assist with improvement items that address customer Quality concerns or employee concerns. Support production and production operators to ensure the ability to produce high quality, efficient products. Act as troubleshooter for automation equipment and other software. Read controls, drawings and design concepts. Respond to maintenance emergencies with urgency and be able to work in excess of eight hours per day. Comply with all safety expectations and contribute to a safe working environment for all employees. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Required. 3 - 5 years of maintenance experience preferred. Prior automotive experience required. Proven experience in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and automation fields. Experience in basic electrical troubleshooting preferred. Craftsman or tradesmen who installs, dismantles and repairs machinery. Must also be capable of a basic to moderate level of fabrication and ability to read hydraulic / electrical prints. Computer experience. Ability to read and work from Blueprints. Strong trouble-shooting skills. Good working knowledge of injection molding machinery and auxiliary equipment. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and follow work schedule.
