JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician to be part of the Maintenance Team for our Cabins. As a small but fast growing company, our goal is to have a small but smart inhouse maintenance team that will be responsible not only for performing troubleshooting but actually resolving problems. It requires expert level knowledge in one of more areas
  • HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Pools etc.
Candidate must be familiar with cabin management and understand that it requires 7x24 availability. NOTE that this position requires weekend hours as well as being on after hour calls as needed. If you are in the top 5% of your peers, we would like to hear from you!
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in either the Cabin Industry or the hospitality industry in general
  • Hands on knowledge of HVAC/Plumbing/Pools/Hot tubs/Electrical/Appliances
  • Ability to communicate professionally with guests and deal with requests during and after hours
  • Strong problem diagnostics skills in multiple aspects of maintenance (HVAC/plumbing/Electrical/General repairs etc.)
  • Good understanding of preventative maintenance requirements for various areas of maintenance and schedule them during off-peak times
