Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pool Technician and become a vital part of maintaining pristine aquatic environments! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and optimal operation of swimming pools and aquatic facilities. Your expertise will help create enjoyable and safe experiences for our clients while showcasing your skills in pool maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and chemical handling. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work outdoors, apply mechanical knowledge, and deliver exceptional customer service every day. Responsibilities Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and debris removal to maintain sparkling water quality. Balance pool chemistry by accurately measuring and adjusting water pH, chlorine levels, alkalinity, and other chemical agents to ensure safe swimming conditions. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, valves, and plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools. Conduct water treatment chemical handling with precision to maintain proper chemical levels and ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain detailed service records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, repairs, and inspections for each pool or aquatic facility. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about pool conditions, maintenance schedules, and safety procedures. Requirements Proven experience in pool maintenance or aquatic facility operations with a strong understanding of pool chemistry balancing. Mechanical knowledge related to pool plumbing systems and equipment troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with water treatment chemical handling and safety procedures. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with the stamina to perform physically demanding tasks. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a vehicle responsibly. Knowledge of pool plumbing systems, equipment repair techniques, and general maintenance practices is highly preferred. Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
