Americare Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to help keep our senior living community safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. In this resident-centered role, you'll complete work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and handle basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks. You will also assist with groundskeeping, safety checks, and emergency repairs. Working closely with caregivers and staff, you support a clean, safe, and dignified environment that enhances quality of life for our residents and peace of mind for their families. Responsibilities Complete and track maintenance work orders promptly Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs Maintain interior and exterior areas, including grounds and common spaces Support safety inspections and ensure compliance with policies and regulations Respond to maintenance emergencies to protect resident comfort and safety Collaborate with caregiving and operations staff to minimize disruptions Assist with room turns, moves, and basic setup for resident needs Required Skills Building maintenance Basic plumbing Basic electrical repair HVAC troubleshooting Carpentry and repairs Preventive maintenance Safety and OSHA compliance Work order management Groundskeeping Use of hand and power tools
