Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be adept at troubleshooting and repairing various systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members to uphold high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities, including inspections and repairs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and inventory. Oversee residential painting projects, ensuring quality finishes and adherence to timelines. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients or residents during maintenance tasks. Lead small teams or supervise junior staff during specific projects or repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment. Electrical experience is essential; familiarity with Ohmmeters is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics. Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Experience in manufacturing environments is advantageous. A strong commitment to safety standards and practices.
