In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of hotel facilities, equipment, and systems. Your proactive approach and technical skills will help create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance knowledge in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems using schematics, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Conduct welding tasks and residential painting as needed to maintain the hotel's aesthetic standards. Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to diagnose problems accurately. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule maintenance tasks, and document repairs. Supervise external contractors or team members during specialized maintenance projects or renovations. Maintain safety standards by adhering to protocols for electrical work, welding, and facilities maintenance activities. Lead small teams in facilities maintenance projects while ensuring quality control and timely completion. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest or staff repair requests with professionalism and efficiency. Experience Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance within a hospitality or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical work, welding, plumbing, and residential painting. Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting electrical systems using tools like ohmmeters. Previous supervisory or supervising experience leading maintenance teams or projects. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems is highly desirable. Experience with CMMS software for managing maintenance workflows is preferred. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and external vendors effectively.
