Responsibilities Conduct regular pool inspections to monitor water quality, chemical levels, pool safety and equipment functionality. Perform thorough cleaning of pool surfaces, filters, skimmers, and surrounding areas to maintain pristine conditions. Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair or replace pool equipment such as pumps, filters, valves, and heaters. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and repairs performed. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pool systems and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime. Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance tasks to protect yourself and others. Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures to prepare pools for peak use or off-season periods. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair pool equipment efficiently. Experience with pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical balancing, and system troubleshooting. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for repairs and installations. Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques, including vacuuming, skimming, and chemical testing. Service technician experience is preferred for handling complex equipment issues swiftly. Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks with attention to detail while maintaining safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
