Job Description
Aircraft Salvage and General Maintenance Technician We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person who enjoys working with their hands and can work independently. This is a unique position that combines aircraft salvage, equipment operation, warehouse work, carpentry, and general property maintenance. Responsibilities Remove aircraft parts using hand and power tools Build shipping crates and pallets Operate skid steer, backhoe, and other equipment to move pallets and materials Assist with facility improvements, construction projects, shop organization, and property upgrades Perform general property maintenance including mowing, weed eating, and repairs Enter inventory information into a computer database Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools Ability to work independently and solve problems Basic carpentry, measuring, and construction skills Basic computer skills Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work indoors and outdoors Experience in aviation, automotive, farming, construction, maintenance, fabrication, or equipment operation is a plus Ideal Candidate This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys fixing things, building things, operating equipment, and seeing a project through to completion. Backgrounds in farming, construction, mechanics, welding, maintenance, or heavy equipment operation are highly desirable. We are a smoke free property.
