As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, clean, and presentable at all times.
• Responsibilities:
• Perform general cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; clean carpets as needed.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies such as soap, towels, and toilet paper.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a timely manner, ensuring proper sorting and disposal.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Use and maintain equipment such as vacuums, mops, and cleaning machines efficiently and safely.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the facility is free of hazards.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to management promptly.
• Assist in setting up and cleaning up for company events and meetings.
• Follow company policies and procedures for cleanliness and hygiene.
• Respond promptly to any specific cleaning requests from staff or management.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service while interacting with staff and visitors.
• Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies, with the ability to follow safety procedures.
• Physical endurance to perform cleaning tasks
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Working Conditions:
• This position requires physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Work is performed indoors and may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Protective gear, such as gloves and masks, may be required for specific tasks.
