Full Job Description Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial maintenance role such working with Plastics process equipment, assembly manufacturing equipment, injection molding machines, robots, etc.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical wiring, drivers, PLC, injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment such as plastics dryers, thermolators, DME, compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, power tools, and maintenance software CMMS such IQMS, Maximo, CMMS, SAP, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, electrical and hydraulic diagrams, and other documents.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have physical capability to lift to seventy (70) pounds and stand for extended periods of time
General Description:
Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintenance and repair of auxiliary, injection molding, and other plant equipment, including Injection Molding Machines, thermolators, dryers, grinders, robots, compressors, chillers, pumps, etc.Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, machine, equipment failures and make repairs as required.
- Preform preventive and corrective maintenance routines and activities
- Assist the Die Setter, as needed to keep sets timely and the production process operating efficiently
- Maintain daily communication with Maintenance Manager and Production leads
- Report and address any unsafe equipment conditions, or malfunctions to the Maintenance Manager
- Installing debugging and startup of new equipment
- Willingness to work overtime when required
