ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and modify PLC programs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) on production machinery to resolve operational issues, using laptops to go online with PLC systems to identify I/O issues, faulty logic, or communication failures. Troubleshoot, program, and replace Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Servo Drives, and DC drives to correct issues with conveyor speeds, robotic movements, and motor performance. Troubleshoot, repair, and install high-voltage 3-phase power systems (480V) and low-voltage control circuits (24VDC), including motor controls, starters, and sensors. Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, solenoid valves, gearboxes, bearings, and conveyor systems. Perform complex PMs and predictive maintenance tasks (e.g., thermal imaging of electrical panels, vibration analysis) to proactively identify potential component failures. Act as a technical leader, assisting Maintenance Managers with project management and training junior technicians to improve their knowledge of automation. Strict adherence to LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), Arc Flash, and OSHA safety standards
