ABOUT MIRAMONT COUNTRY CLUB
Miramont Country Club is a premier private club committed to delivering an exceptional experience for our Members and guests. We hold ourselves to the highest standards in every aspect of Club operations and our facilities are no exception. We are seeking a skilled, dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to help keep our clubhouse, grounds and facilities safe, functional and impeccably maintained.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the efficient operation, upkeep and repair of facilities and equipment across multiple locations, with a primary focus on Miramont Country Club. Reporting to the Chief Building Engineer, this hands-on role performs routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues and completes the repairs that keep every area Member-ready. Responsibilities may expand to include additional properties as needed. This role is ideal for a proactive, self-motivated technician who takes pride in their work and brings a service-first mindset aligned with the standards of a distinguished private club.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to keep all areas safe, functional and well-maintained. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including ballast wiring, line voltage identification, capacitor testing, photo cells, time clock circuits and AC/DC motors. Perform pool equipment maintenance, including pump and motor replacement, PVC repairs and level sensor and heater troubleshooting. Execute advanced carpentry and drywall repairs, including taping, mudding and finishing work. Operate heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, backhoes and bucket trucks. Safely work at heights using ladders, lifts, scaffolding, bucket trucks and fall protection equipment for exterior building maintenance. Follow lamping, painting, air filter and belt replacement schedules across all managed properties. Identify vehicle maintenance needs and coordinate appropriate repairs. Keep supplies properly stocked and maintain an organized, clean and Member-ready work area. Build effective working relationships with contractors, vendors and coworkers. Maintain accurate records and follow established reporting procedures. Promptly report accidents, safety hazards and damage to Club property. Recommend best practices that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of facility operations. Provide courteous, attentive service and take personal responsibility for Member requests.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
High school diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance, facilities management or a related field Ability to pass a heavy equipment operational test administered by a supervisor Willingness to complete and maintain Club-provided online certifications in electronics maintenance and pool maintenance Ability to maintain a consistent and dependable work schedule
Preferred:
Experience operating front-end loaders, backhoes or bucket trucks Experience with commercial pool equipment maintenance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods; walk, climb ladders and stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist and reach; perform continuous repetitive motions; occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds; and work in busy, noisy environments and in conditions that may be hot, cold, humid or wet/slippery. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
