As we continue to grow, we're seeking a skilled Router Technician to join our manufacturing team in Florida. If you're someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a sharp eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment — this is the role for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Router Technician, you'll operate CNC routing machines to shape and cut signage components from a variety of materials. You'll play a critical role in our production process, ensuring that each project meets exact specifications and high-quality standards.
Daily Responsibilities:
Program and operate CNC routers to cut plastic, aluminum, wood, PVC board, and more Load and secure materials to the router table for precise machining Read and interpret job files, technical specs, and routing instructions Inspect and measure finished parts for accuracy and quality Adjust speeds, tools, and programming as needed for optimal results Troubleshoot issues in real-time and maintain machine performance Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces Move materials using hoists or cranes as necessary Cross-train and support other departments when needed
What We're Looking For:
Experience operating and programming CNC routers Familiarity with routing software and machine control panels Forklift certification (or willingness to become certified) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills High school diploma or equivalent Team player with reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Willingness to learn and grow within the company Why Work at Atlas?
