What You'll Be Doing As a Garage Door Technician , you will go to customers' homes and help diagnose, repair, service, and install garage door systems and related equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing garage door and opener issues Repairing or replacing springs, rollers, cables, openers, and other components Installing new garage doors and operators Explaining repair and replacement options clearly to customers Helping customers feel confident in the work being recommended Completing work safely, correctly, and professionally Collecting payment and closing out jobs accurately Keeping tools, materials, and work areas organized and ready Representing the Precision brand with professionalism and integrity every day Who We're Looking For We are looking for people who are: Mechanically inclined and eager to learn Dependable, hard-working, and responsible Coachable and willing to improve Strong communicators with a positive attitude Good with people and able to build trust Professional in appearance and conduct Comfortable working independently while staying accountable Committed to safe, quality work You may be a great fit for this role if people would describe you as: Reliable Likable Sharp Respectful Hands-on Driven Someone who takes pride in doing things well This Role Could Be a
Great Fit If You Have Experience In:
Construction Maintenance Mechanical work Installation Service industries Automotive repair Delivery or route-based work In-home customer service Sales with a strong service mindset Garage door experience is a plus, but it is not required. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50 pounds independently Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods Ability to work in heat and cold, both indoors and outdoors Comfortable using technology, including tablets and mobile software Able to use hand tools and operate mechanical equipment Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and ready to work Must be able to successfully complete a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process What We Offer Starting pay of $18.00-$25.00 per hour during training Pay increases based on performance, independence, and production Bonuses and incentives Paid training On-the-job coaching and development Access to company vehicle for daily job duties Fuel card Tools provided Professional development assistance Who Thrives Here The people who do best here are the ones who show up hungry to learn, care about doing quality work, treat customers well, and take ownership of their role.
