We are hiring a full-time Pool Technician to join our team and ensure we maintain quality facilities that will exceed the expectations of our members. This position is responsible for pool maintenance and repairs at the different branch locations in the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas. This position may also include light repairs at branches not limited to; sheetrock, lighting, plumbing, and any other duties assigned. Company vehicles are provided for driving to and from various branch locations. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm (some flexibility allowed), Saturdays as required with a rotating schedule. Demonstrated background, knowledge, and expertise as it relates to painting, drywall repair, minor electric and plumbing. Experience with pool pumps, motors, and filtrations systems preferred but not required. Able to do small deck repair and plaster. This position is responsible for training staff on operation of pool equipment/splashpad and shutdown procedures. Training will be provided. Professional communication skills are required as this position will interface with staff, members, and some contractors. Provide timely responses to maintenance work order system and resolve issues within a reasonable time. Perform other duties as required. Must be 21 years or older. Must have valid Texas Driver's License, must be able to pass a background check and MVR, and clean driving record. Own tools are helpful, but not required. Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
Pay Rate:
$24-27 per hour
