Joy Drive-In Movie & RV Resort is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance & Grounds Technician to help keep our park clean, attractive, safe, and ready for our residents and guests. From mowing and daily park upkeep to repairing rental RVs and maintaining our tiny homes, this position is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, works well with a team, and takes pride in the finished result.

Kaylie Ramos, Assistant Manager & Director of Operations Daily maintenance direction and training: Robert Lewis, Director of Maintenance You will work alongside and under Robert's direction, helping complete daily assignments, preventive maintenance, repairs, and property improvements. Kaylie oversees scheduling, operational priorities, and employee accountability. What You'll DoDaily Park Upkeep & Grounds Maintenance Help keep the entire property neat, welcoming, and well maintained. Responsibilities include mowing, weed eating, edging, blowing walkways, pulling weeds, trimming landscaping, and removing leaves, litter, and debris. Assist with daily morning trash concierge collection, empty common-area trash cans, and keep dumpster and disposal areas tidy. Walk assigned areas of the park to identify maintenance needs, leaks, damage, trip hazards, and other concerns. Help maintain RV sites, roads, parking areas, fences, gates, signs, and outdoor gathering spaces. RV, Tiny-Home & Rental Property Maintenance Assist Robert with routine maintenance and repairs to park-owned RVs, tiny homes/ADUs, and other rental units. Work may include minor plumbing repairs, caulking, painting, basic carpentry, door and cabinet adjustments, hardware replacement, and upkeep of steps, porches, decks, and skirting. Help troubleshoot appliance and equipment problems, perform assigned preventive maintenance, replace filters and other routine service items, and promptly report issues requiring a specialist. Only perform work within your training and authorization; refer specialized electrical, propane, HVAC, and other higher-risk repairs to Robert and approved professionals. Cleanliness, Housekeeping Support & Rental Readiness Assist with keeping the clubhouse, restrooms, showers, game room, laundry areas, pool area, and other shared spaces clean and presentable. Duties may include sweeping, mopping, pressure washing, removing trash, and helping with deeper cleaning as assigned. Support rental turnovers and make-ready work by assisting with cleaning, moving furniture, assembling furnishings, completing minor repairs, checking fixtures, and removing leftover materials. Report completed work and unresolved issues so rentals can be inspected and approved before the next guest arrives. This is a working maintenance position—not a repairs-only role. Cleaning, mowing, and everyday upkeep are essential parts of the job. Amenities, Animal Care & Event Support Help maintain the pool area, playground, dog park, movie-viewing area, and other resort amenities. Assist with pool cleaning and routine checks under Robert's direction and according to training. Provide assigned chicken-coop care, including fresh food and water, egg collection, and cleaning. Help with tables, chairs, signs, equipment, and cleanup before and after movie nights, clubhouse rentals, and special events. Tools, Supplies & Work-Order Follow-Through Keep tools, equipment, maintenance supplies, and storage areas organized and secure. Use and care for mowers, trimmers, power tools, and other equipment safely. Follow Joy's receiving procedures when helping unload or store deliveries. Make sure materials reach their designated storage locations and that receiving staff have the information needed to track them. Complete daily checklists and assigned work orders. Keep Robert informed of progress, needed materials, unfinished work, and obstacles. Report urgent safety concerns immediately, and obtain approval before purchasing materials or arranging outside work. Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is reliable, observant, respectful, and willing to pitch in wherever the maintenance team needs help.

Practical maintenance skills:

Experience in property maintenance, apartment make-readies, RV repairs, groundskeeping, construction, or a similar hands-on role is preferred. RV and tiny-home experience is a plus.

A strong work ethic:

Show up on time, follow instructions, communicate clearly, finish assignments, and clean up the work area afterward.

Safe working habits:

Be comfortable using common hand tools, power tools, and lawn equipment while following safety procedures and recognizing when a task requires additional help.

Be courteous around guests and residents, respect their privacy and belongings, and understand that the condition of the property is part of their experience at Joy. Work Environment & Schedule This is an active, indoor-and-outdoor position involving walking across the property, bending, kneeling, carrying supplies, operating equipment, and using ladders when appropriate.
