Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance & Janitorial Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning workplace. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout office, restroom, break room, production, and exterior areas while also assisting with minor facility repairs and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, can work independently with minimal supervision, and is committed to maintaining a safe and professional work environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout: Office areas Restrooms Break rooms Production and shop areas Warehouses and common areas Exterior areas and grounds Perform routine janitorial and custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, cleaning, and sanitizing. Monitor facility areas and address cleanliness or housekeeping concerns in a timely manner. Perform minor facility repairs and general maintenance tasks as needed. Identify, document, and report facility issues, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards to management. Assist with maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work environment. Complete assigned maintenance and housekeeping tasks accurately and on schedule. Properly use cleaning supplies, tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality. Work independently while effectively prioritizing daily responsibilities. Perform other facility maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, facilities maintenance, or a similar role preferred. Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in offices, restrooms, break rooms, production areas, and outside areas. Ability to perform minor facility repairs and general maintenance tasks. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and organized facility. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE compliance. Ability to follow instructions, company procedures, and safety requirements. Good communication skills and the ability to report facility concerns promptly.
