Job Description
About us Shannon Galvanizing is a customer-first, full-service galvanizer established by brothers David Jr. and Charlie Shannon. Generationally the Shannon name is well known in the galvanizing sector focusing on friendly customer service along with consistently high quality. The facility began operations at the beginning of 2022. We look forward to serving our customers, vendors, and the greater community. This position assists the Plant Maintenance Supervisor-Night Shift (Mon - Fri 5:00pm - 2am; unless otherwise requested) in the operation of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as overhead crane and forklifts, by troubleshooting malfunctions, completing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and production machines, following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. When not fulfilling its key roll, this person may also be asked to help and assist with the moving, loading and offloading of material via forklift.
