Compensation:
$23
  • 25 per hour, based on experience, plus monthly performance bonus opportunities
Schedule:

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Silverado Apartments in Frisco, Texas. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and taking pride in keeping an apartment community operating at a high level. You'll work alongside the maintenance and community teams to complete service requests, prepare apartment homes for new residents, perform preventative maintenance, and help maintain the overall appearance and condition of the property. We're looking for someone who is dependable, takes ownership of their work, and understands the importance of providing residents with timely, professional service. What You Will Do Diagnose and complete HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally Complete apartment turns and make-ready repairs to prepare homes for new residents Perform preventative maintenance and routine property inspections Maintain pools, grounds, amenities, buildings, and common areas to company standards Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify appropriate repair solutions Assist with maintaining maintenance supplies, tools, equipment, and inventory Support the Lead Maintenance Supervisor with property projects and maintenance priorities Communicate professionally with residents and provide exceptional customer service Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Participate in the rotational on-call schedule and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies What You Will Bring Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience preferred HVAC experience required; HVAC certification strongly preferred Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance repairs Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to prioritize multiple service requests and maintenance needs Dependability, initiative, and strong attention to detail Willingness to participate in the rotational on-call schedule Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Employee Apartment Discount Company-Paid Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Optional Supplemental Benefits Ongoing Training and Career Development Why Gaines Investment Trust?
