Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our property management team in Greenville, Texas. This hands-on role is essential in maintaining the safety, functionality, and overall appearance of our apartment community. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, solid technical knowledge, and a commitment to providing prompt, high-quality service to our residents. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartments, buildings, and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Complete work orders in a timely manner with professionalism and attention to detail. Prepare vacant units for new residents by conducting necessary repairs and upgrades (turns/make-readies). Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls, including after-hours situations (on-call rotation may apply). Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues proactively. Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working order and organized. Assist in maintaining exterior grounds, including trash pickup, light landscaping, and snow/ice removal (as needed). Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies. Collaborate with the Property Manager and office staff to prioritize maintenance tasks effectively. Requirements Proven experience in apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance. Working knowledge of general maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, painting, and appliance repair. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and independently. Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Must have your own basic tools and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in a physically active environment. Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance. High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification a plus.
