Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Repair and troubleshoot PTAC units Replace room sink garbage disposals is needed Carpentry, painting, and plumbing repairs to maintain the aesthetic and functional integrity of the property. Operate hand tools and facilities equipment maintenance tools efficiently for various repair tasks. Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to diagnose issues accurately. Lead or assist with maintenance repair across all hotel facilities, ensuring safety compliance and operational efficiency. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests or staff while maintaining professionalism. Requirements Reliable Transportation Experience in facilities maintenance or building systems repair within a hospitality or commercial environment Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing system maintenance and repair, HVAC system repair, welding, carpentry, and painting. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, MRO procedures, and the use of hand tools and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Electrical experience including electrical equipment repair and troubleshooting skills essential for maintaining building electrical systems. Knowledge of
HVAC/PTAC
systems including routine repairs and troubleshooting HVAC units to ensure optimal climate control. Excellent communication skills in English/Spanish Physical capability to perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, or working in confined spaces safely. Experience with plumbing system maintenance including leak detection, pipe repairs, fixture replacements, and drainage troubleshooting.
