Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, where your expertise will keep our production lines running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your technical skills and proactive approach will ensure minimal downtime, optimal equipment performance, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills in a collaborative setting dedicated to quality and innovation. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints. Troubleshoot electrical systems, hydraulic components, pneumatic systems, and mechanical machinery to identify root causes of malfunctions. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters; read electrical blueprints and schematics for accurate repairs. Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze equipment performance data and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Support emergency repairs by diagnosing issues swiftly with engineering troubleshooting techniques; perform equipment repair with precision to minimize downtime. Follow safety protocols diligently while working on electrical systems, hydraulics, or during welding operations; ensure compliance with industry standards. Assist in training team members on maintenance procedures and safety practices to foster a culture of continuous learning. Experience Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.. Technical sales experience or familiarity with customer service principles is a plus for cross-functional collaboration. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical diagnostics, schematics reading, and equipment troubleshooting is essential. Demonstrated ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics; experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous. Strong analysis skills combined with industrial electrician experience to diagnose complex issues efficiently. Ability to perform electrical maintenance tasks safely while adhering to all safety regulations; familiarity with electrical blueprint reading is required. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and effective teamwork across departments.
