Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electrical systems and equipment. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical components operate safely and efficiently, supporting the overall functionality of our building infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the seamless operation of our facilities. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Perform maintenance on systems, plumbing, plumbing systems, and other building interior facilities to ensure optimal performance Conduct electrical equipment repairs and upgrades, including wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and control panels. Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance tasks with precision and safety. Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs. Support building interior maintenance activities such as painting, carpentry, and general facilities upkeep to enhance the environment. Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Lead or assist with welding tasks when necessary for structural or equipment repairs. Repair Boiler systems including troubleshooting controls and performing system repairs to ensure climate control efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and facility users regarding maintenance needs or issues. Experience Proven electrical experience with a solid understanding of electrical work standards and safety protocols. Knowledge of Boiler system repair, maintenance, plumbing system maintenance and repair. Familiarity with schematics, electrical equipment repair, MRO (maintenance, repair & operations), and the use of diagnostic tools like ohmmeters. Mechanical knowledge related to facilities maintenance including carpentry skills and plumbing repairs. Experience working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and performing residential painting or maintenance painting tasks. Ability to read technical diagrams accurately and follow detailed instructions for complex repairs or installations. Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration within diverse teams. Leadership qualities that enable guidance during team tasks or projects related to facilities maintenance.
