26-09180 Job Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the general upkeep, maintenance, and organization of the building and facility. This entry-level role performs basic maintenance, cleaning, assembly, and repair activities to support a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. Responsibilities include assisting with facility maintenance projects, assembling and repairing carts using hand tools, cleaning and maintaining existing equipment, and supporting the overall needs of the building. This is a project-based position with the potential for future permanent employment in another capacity based on business needs and performance. Job Responsibilities Support the general maintenance, upkeep, and operation of the building and facility.

Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs to facility equipment, machinery, and building systems as assigned.

Assist with scheduled preventive maintenance activities.

Troubleshoot basic equipment and facility-related issues and perform corrective repairs under supervision.

Assemble carts and other equipment using hand tools and established instructions.

Clean, organize, repair, and maintain existing carts and equipment.

Perform cleaning and general housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and organized facility.

Assist with facility maintenance projects and other building-related initiatives.

Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, technical documentation, and work instructions as required.

Coordinate with internal team members and external contractors as needed.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.

Follow all established safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Perform other related maintenance and facility support duties as assigned. Job Requirements 1-3 years of maintenance, facilities, cleaning, assembly, or related technical experience preferred.

Basic experience performing maintenance, repairs, cleaning, or general facility support activities.

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Experience using hand tools for assembly, repair, or maintenance activities.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Ability to work under direct supervision while completing assigned tasks independently.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and support changing facility needs.

Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or facilities environment preferred.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs, maintenance documentation, or facility support processes preferred. Education High school diploma or GED required.
