FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Pay:
$22.00/hour
Location:
League City, TX Temp-to-Hire
JOB SUMMARY
Openwork, formerly Meador Staffing, is hiring a dependable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations and general upkeep of a commercial building. If you have hands-on maintenance experience, strong technical skills, and take pride in keeping a facility operating safely and efficiently, we want to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform general building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.
  • Replace light fixtures and perform basic electrical maintenance.
  • Assist with plumbing repairs and routine maintenance.
  • Support
BAS/HVAC
systems, including chillers and cooling towers.
  • Assist with elevator coordination and monitoring.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and address issues as needed.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and properly functioning facility.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous facilities, property maintenance, or commercial building maintenance experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of building operations and maintenance systems.
  • Ability to perform preventative and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
TEMP-TO-HIRE DETAILS
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity based on work performance and attendance. Candidates must complete a minimum of 520 hours through Openwork to be eligible for permanent hire with the client.
