The ideal candidate must possess a valid driver's license and demonstrate a high level of punctuality, as this role involves traveling between job sites. A strong foundation in HVAC and electrical systems is essential, along with a detail-oriented mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment. This full-time position requires 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance. The selected individual will be assigned a company vehicle that plays a critical role in ensuring optimal service delivery across our Central-region properties. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record HVAC experience required; EPA Certification preferred CPO preferred Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong time management skills and punctuality Willingness to work flexible hours, if required Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in maintenance operations Responsibilities Perform regular inspections and maintenance on apartment properties across the Central DFW region Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues related to HVAC units and other mechanical equipment Provide timely and efficient service to residents in a fast-paced environment Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and resident interactions Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while on the job Communicate effectively with management regarding service needs and recommendations Collaborate with team members to address and resolve technical challenges Keep the company vehicle organized and stocked with necessary tools and equipment Demonstrate a detail-oriented approach to every task, ensuring quality workmanship Attend training sessions and workshops to stay updated on industry standards and practices Work weekends and take on-call rotating shifts as required
