Residence Inn South is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel to ensure a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and public areas
Address work orders related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential issues
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
Maintain hotel equipment and ensure proper operation of building systems
Repair or replace damaged fixtures, furniture, and appliances as needed
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel standards
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance workspace
Assist with groundskeeping and property appearance as needed
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance experience preferred
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance
Ability to use hand and power tools safely
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies
Dependable with good attendance and a positive attitude
