Job Description

Overview:
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of equipment in a fast-paced carpentry and wood manufacturing warehouse . This position will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial woodworking machinery used for cutting, processing, and manufacturing wood products. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience maintaining or repairing industrial equipment, woodworking machinery, or production machines. Starting pay $23 hourly, DOE - 4 Day workweek - 3 days off Opportunities to learn preventative maintenance, safety procedures, and cross-training Radically affordable health insurance after 30 days Affordable health insurance you can actually use, including $5 copays, $5 prescriptions, and free Telehealth services What you'll do: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial woodworking and production equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with wood cutting machines, saws, conveyors, dust collection systems, and other production equipment . Disassemble and reassemble machinery to inspect, repair, or replace components. Repair or replace worn, damaged, or malfunctioning machine parts. Inspect equipment for excessive wear, damage, loose components, and other potential problems. Maintain and troubleshoot dust collection systems and related equipment. Perform maintenance on air compressors, including bleeding and draining water. Inspect and maintain forklift battery equipment and coupling devices as needed. Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, parts, and materials used. Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply: Woodworking Machinery - Miter/compound saws, CNC routers, Drill/boring machines, Jointers. CNC or Automated Machinery Conveyors Dust Collection Systems Air Compressors Automated material-handling equipment

Have the ability and willingness to cross-train and support others Know safety procedures when using tools, including saws and basic equipment Have a strong customer-service mindset in supporting internal operations Spanish-English bilingual ability is a plus and supports team communication
