Building Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable and versatile Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day upkeep and appearance of our property. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing a broad range of light maintenance, custodial, and landscaping duties.

Key Responsibilities:

General Maintenance & Repairs Perform light repairs throughout the facility including doors, hardware, fixtures, and general wear-and-tear items Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders submitted by tenants or management Apply basic knowledge of plumbing systems to address minor issues such as leaks, clogs, and fixture repairs Utilize fundamental electrical skills to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues including outlet, switch, and wiring concerns Perform basic mechanical maintenance on HVAC units, pumps, and other building equipment as directed Facility Appearance & Cleanliness Collect and dispose of trash and litter throughout the plaza, parking areas, and common spaces on a regular basis Operate power washing equipment to clean sidewalks, stairways, parking areas, and other hard surfaces Perform light janitorial duties in common areas as needed to maintain a clean and professional appearance Replace burned-out light bulbs, ballasts, and exit signs throughout the facility Remove and replace damaged or stained ceiling tiles to maintain a clean, uniform appearance Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance Maintain flower beds and planted areas through regular weeding, mulching, edging, and seasonal planting Remove debris such as leaves, branches, and litter from landscaped areas, walkways, and grounds Water and tend to existing plantings to support healthy growth and appearance Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and property enhancement initiatives as directed Notify the Facilities Manager of irrigation issues, dead plantings, or areas in need of renovation

Pay:

From $13.00 per hour
