Duties Perform routine cleaning of pool surfaces, floors, skimmers, filters, and surrounding areas to maintain cleanliness and safety. Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, valves, and circulation systems to ensure optimal operation. Handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to balance pool chemistry, ensuring water clarity and sanitation. Maintain and repair pool equipment using hand tools and power tools, conducting preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns. Monitor water quality through testing and adjust chemical levels as needed to meet health standards. Operate company vehicles to transport equipment, chemicals, or supplies to different job sites while adhering to safety protocols. Document maintenance activities, chemical usage, and inspection reports accurately for record-keeping and compliance purposes. Experience Prior experience in pool maintenance or aquatic facility operations is highly preferred. Knowledge of pool plumbing systems, mechanical components, and troubleshooting techniques is essential. Familiarity with water treatment chemical handling and pool chemistry balancing is required. Hands-on experience with equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting using hand tools and power tools is advantageous. Strong outdoor work experience with the ability to work in various weather conditions is beneficial. Excellent customer service skills are important for interacting professionally with clients or facility staff. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles is preferred for logistical tasks.
