Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently, safety standards are upheld, and the environment remains productive and comfortable. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting, making a tangible impact on daily operations. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety protocols. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and kitchen appliances to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used; utilize maintenance management software effectively. Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment deliveries as needed. Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with construction or renovation projects when required. Requirements Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology along with experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO). Skilled in appliance installation, kitchen equipment maintenance, air conditioning repair, and general equipment upkeep. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely; construction experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards. Leadership qualities with the motivation to take initiative on maintenance projects and mentor junior team members when necessary. Join us in keeping our facilities running smoothly! Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
