Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems will be essential to keep our facilities running smoothly. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and building interior components to ensure operational efficiency. Use hand tools, schematics, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs effectively. Conduct preventative maintenance on facilities equipment including HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and mechanical systems. Carry out maintenance painting, carpentry tasks, and general building interior upkeep to maintain a clean and professional environment. Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems using schematics and technical manuals; repair or replace faulty components promptly. Support maintenance painting projects with residential or facility-specific painting tasks to enhance the appearance of the premises. Assist with maintenance of facilities equipment related to operations such as elevators, fire safety systems, or security devices as needed. Collaborate with team members to lead small repair projects or assist in larger maintenance operations while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Respond promptly to facility issues reported by staff or management to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance with knowledge of electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, welding, carpentry, and mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical equipment repair, and the use of hand tools including ohmmeters. Strong understanding of maintenance procedures for building interior systems and facilities equipment including HVAC systems. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately; experience with electrical equipment repair is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach; capable of diagnosing issues efficiently using electrical experience and mechanical knowledge. Good communication skills in English; able to document work clearly and follow instructions effectively. Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior team members or leading small projects independently. Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, or working in confined spaces safely.
