Job Description

Job Overview Maintenance Tech 1 plays a crucial role in our production process. Responsible for providing installation and maintenance of industrial equipment. Ensures the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Includes installing new equipment, performing preventative maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. Job Responsibilities Assists with conducting inspections of equipment to ensure proper operation and minimize safety issues. Acquire and maintain a detailed understanding of processes and equipment operation. Disassemble, clean, and repair all equipment, covering both mechanical and electrical components. Assist with troubleshooting and repairing equipment and machinery failures. Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock, determining inventory levels, and anticipating needed items. Maintain accurate reports, logs, charts, or other tracking tools as required. Resolve equipment, process, and product problems, working with leadership to understand the process and implement effective solutions. Work within an assigned area to ensure the proficient and continuous functioning of equipment. Support the production team to consistently meet established goals. Prepares, submits, and maintains reports as needed. Other duties, as assigned. Education - Experience Required 1-3 years experience in an Industrial Maintenance Position Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations. Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and pay close attention to detail. Ability to prepare basic reports and business correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively in written or verbal form. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Frequently exposed to an office and manufacturing/industrial environment.
