Job Description

Entry-level Full-Time Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, 1 weekend every 5 weeks On-Call rotation once every 5 weeksSummary:
Perform repairs inside and / or outside the facility, which may include structure repairs, painting, plumbing and electrical which also may include maintaining the grounds of EdenHill Communities properties. Maintenance Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintain general plant and facility in good repair while observing and performing safe working procedures. Follow maintenance schedule/instructions as outlined in the policies and procedures Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns, any incidents/accidents, and/or any unsafe/hazardous conditions and defective equipment to the Maintenance Supervisor immediately. Follow established policies and procedures concerning infection control while performing duties. Perform heating and cooling unit/systems as specified by the manufacturer while keeping in compliance with policies and procedures. Have experience and be capable of performing basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs. Be able to accomplish basic techniques of cementing, plastering, and painting Be able to perform minor repairs on electrical equipment, appliances, facility and kitchen equipment. Have knowledge of pneumatic controls (remove - ability to calibrate thermostats) Have the ability to learn and operate boilers, chillers, pumps, water softener and emergency power systems. Be able to use and maintain hand and power tools and cleaning up the work area before leaving the area for breaks or the end of the day. Recommend to the Director of Environmental Services the equipment and supply needs of the department. Must consistently display and model the EdenHill Spirit hospitality behavior models.EOE Job Type:
