Duties Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning filters, skimming debris, brushing surfaces, and vacuuming pools to uphold cleanliness standards. Balance pool chemistry by testing water levels and adjusting chemical agents such as chlorine, pH adjusters, algaecides, and stabilizers to ensure safe swimming conditions. Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, valves, and plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools. Conduct inspections of pool plumbing systems and mechanical components to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Handle water treatment chemicals safely following all safety protocols to maintain proper chemical levels and prevent hazards. Operate company vehicles responsibly for scheduled service calls while adhering to all traffic laws and safety procedures. Communicate effectively with customers by explaining maintenance procedures, answering questions, and providing professional recommendations for ongoing pool care. Experience Previous experience in pool maintenance or aquatic facility operations is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment troubleshooting and repair is essential. Familiarity with water treatment chemical handling and pool chemistry balancing techniques. Hands-on outdoor work experience in various weather conditions is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment required for repairs. Valid driver's license with clean driving record for operating company vehicles safely.
